Sir Syed Public School & Colleges, Tipu Road, Rawalpindi
In October 2017, Step Up began its collaboration with Sir Syed Public School & Colleges located on Tipu Road in Rawalpindi. Sir Syed Public School, established in 1956, is one of the oldest and most reputable schools in the area and is associated with the Pakistan Aligarh Association. With over 6000 students and more than 300 faculty members, it serves as a significant educational institution in Rawalpindi.
As part of our collaboration, Step Up conducted a one-week teacher training program for nearly 100 secondary and college teachers in October 2017. The program aimed to enhance the teaching skills of the teachers, covering multiple subjects. Our project coordinators included Ms. Sadia Nawaz, while the trainers were Mr. Ahmed Sipra and Mr. Ather Rasheed, who is also a trainer at the Army Public Schools.
Overall, the program was a success, and we received positive feedback from the participants, who found the training beneficial and insightful.
